"Several weeks ago my roof was damaged during a storm. I contacted a roofing company for an estimate. Merrit Roofing came out and inspected my roof and that the roof needed replaced. I contacted State Farm, who sent out Josh McDaniels to inspect our roof. After introducing himself he stated " let go see how little damage there actually is." This so called inspector denied my claim before ever seeing my roof. I contacted Josh Nazar my agent for assistance and got nothing. All he would say is that we are trying to keep cost down for all Texans. I request a second adjuster and was denied. I pay my premiums I just want the coverage that I pay for I don't give a crap about everyone else. I am having my roof patched today, because State Farm doesn't want to honor their contracts. If you are still with State Farm leave before you have a problem, because they will make it your fault and refuse to cover your claim. I don't normally post anything but this is criminal. I'm disabled and was forced to retire. State Farm doesn't care about anything but your money!🤬 Facts are that there are several other homes in my neighborhood that are having their roofs replaced from the same storm. The difference is they don't have State Farm. I had 3 other roofing companies inspect my roof all three stated that the roof needed to be replaced, and they knew that they weren't going to get the job. They also stated that we were out of luck because State Farm stopped paying for roofs. If you don't believe the fact look at State Farm Corporate reviews. All 1 star! And to say that you care actions speak louder than your we care speech."
